CHARLIE
Charlie, Lion Camp’s largest and most iconic elephant, is a gentle giant. A lone bull, he frequents the lodge, feeding on winter thorn pods, drinking, and providing guests intimate encounters where he feels at home, as well as in the workshop with his bachelor herd—the workshop crew.
SCOOTER
Scooter, a cheeky young bull, earned his name by scooting under elevated decks as a calf. Full of character, he roams the lodge like it’s his own, though he wisely avoids the true legend—Charlie. Often arriving early, he dodges Charlie while trying to steal the lion’s share of Winterthorn seed pods.
PEAKY BLINDERS
The Peaky Blinders, a troop of mischievous, inquisitive vervet monkeys, have become iconic lodge characters. They roam freely, feasting on seed pods, and unlike in many places where they’re seen as pests, here, they’re family— part of the Lion Camp experience.
